A Closer Look at Three Engagements
Challenge
A Bangkok-based logistics firm with 140 employees had grown significantly since 2020 but leadership acknowledged they were "running ahead of their structure" β decisions were being made without clear ownership, and expansion into two new provinces had stalled.
Approach
Over six weeks, Tessara conducted interviews with twelve stakeholders across functions, mapped existing decision-making flows, and facilitated a two-day leadership offsite to test emerging findings and build alignment around priorities.
Outcome
The final report identified four structural adjustments and two market-entry sequencing changes. Within ninety days, the firm had completed the structural work and resumed the provincial expansion with a clearer accountability framework in place.

Challenge
A mid-sized family-owned manufacturing business in Rayong was preparing for the founder's retirement and needed to transition operational authority to a second-generation leadership team that had grown up in the business but hadn't led it independently.
Approach
The twelve-week program focused on leadership team dynamics, decision-making frameworks for the new structure, and facilitated conversations between the founder and incoming leadership designed to surface unspoken assumptions about how the company should operate.
Outcome
The transition was completed without significant disruption. The incoming management team reported greater confidence in collective decision-making, and the company entered its first full financial year under new leadership with a documented operating framework in place.
Context
A regional subsidiary managing director in Bangkok held responsibility for a team of 60 across three countries but had no independent source of strategic counsel β all advice came from headquarters, which had different interests and limited visibility into the regional context.
How It Worked
Monthly sessions were structured around the most significant strategic or governance issue of the preceding period, supplemented by four or five shorter on-demand calls during situations where a decision was pressing and an external view would help.
Value Delivered
Over twenty months, the MD used the retainer for input on two significant staff restructurings, a renegotiated regional supply agreement, and preparation for two headquarters review presentations. The arrangement continued into its third year at the MD's request.
