Tessara was founded in Bangkok in 2011 by a small group of professionals who had spent years in senior positions across finance, operations, and organizational management in Thailand and the broader region. What drew them together was a shared dissatisfaction with consulting work that produced impressive-looking documents but little lasting change.
The firm takes its name from the tessera โ the individual tile used in mosaic work โ as a way of articulating a core belief: that meaningful organizational improvement is almost always the result of many small, carefully placed decisions rather than a single dramatic intervention. That orientation shapes how Tessara approaches every engagement.
Over the years, the firm has worked with mid-sized Thai companies, regional subsidiaries of international groups, family-owned enterprises navigating succession, and founders building second-stage structures around growth businesses. The work spans sectors โ but the manner of working remains consistent: careful, direct, and without unnecessary complexity.
Tessara operates from its offices in the Sathorn district and does not maintain branch offices. This reflects a deliberate choice to remain a focused practice rather than a scaled institution. Engagements are staffed by senior advisors directly, and client relationships are maintained by the same people who do the work.
